New Wolf in Town

Okay, so for those of you have read Artie's profile, you know that Artie's a bit of a . . . strange wolf. In fact, she doesn't think she's a wolf at all! For all she knows, she's a wild cat.

So this roleplay is about Artie trying to find her place in Woodwolf Forest, thinking she's a cat, and all the funny things that are bound to happen.

Artie prowled through the forest. This was a strange place. She wondered where all the cats were. She smelled lots of dog(grrr....), and even a bit of human! She would have to lookout.

"Hmmmm. . ." she wondered. "I wonder where to go?"

Midnight smelled somthing strange, it smelled like cat, with a hint of wolf. She stepped forward and saw Artie. The fur on her back arched and gave a low growl as she always did when meating a new wolf.

Knight, who was further off, was walking next to another wolf. The other wolf was grey and seemed to talk to no end even with the lump of orange striped fur in its mouth.

"This cat was soooooo mouse-brained" the grey wolf bragged. "It practically wanted to be caught!"

"Cool" said Knight. They walked towards Midnight. "Hey Midnight, check out the cat Lunarfang caught--" she saw Artie. "Who's that?"

"I don't know...." said Midnigh. "She smells strange....."

"Huh." said Knight. Thankfully, Lunarfang had shut up.

Artie spotted the two wolves, and hissed. Or, at least she tried to hiss - it was something that wolves can't quite do. It came out as sort of a strangled growl.

Her hackles raised, and her ears pressed flat, a sign of anger she picked up from her cat family.

"What are you looking at, pipsqueaks?" she hiss-growled.

Midnight jumped back, very worried. "I'm sorry...." she said trying to make herself as unthreatening as possible.

"Who are you?" asked Lunarfang. He dropped the cat he'd caught on the dirt floor.

"I'm Artie," Artie growled. Her hackles relaxed about three centimeters. "And you are?"

"I'm Lunarfang" he said.

You're going to be dead if you don't shut up Knight thought to herself.

((who'd going to die if they don't shut up?))

"I'm Midnight." said Midnight. "Are you nice?" she asked.

((Knight doesn't know who Artie is so so she's thinking to herself that if Lunarfang doesn't shut up he might get killed.))

Artie regarded Midnight. "Depends on who's asking."
