New Wolf in Town

Artie looked very lost. "Ooookay then. I guess I'll do . . . wolf stuff."

Midnight scratched her ear. "You have to sniff with your nose!"

"But my mouth works better." Artie didn't sounded a little like her old self - a tad exasperated, a tad confused, and more than a tad defiant.

"No way, the nose works much better. Try it!" Said Knight.

Midnight nodded.

Artie narrowed her eyes, and took a grudging sniff through her nose. "I guess it works as good. Maybe." She said it with such a reluctant tone that it would be best not to argue.

Artie had spent her whole life as a cat. Okay, so maybe she was a wolf physically, but mentally and emotionally, she was a true blue cat. She wasn't going to give up her whole view of the world just because she wasn't in the same species as her siblings.

"Goooooood!" said Midnight. "Now try panting!" she demonstrated.

"Why?" Artie asked, looking at Midnight as if she were insane.

"Because it's good to try new things!" said Midnight. "Unless it's roadkill...."

Artie narrowed her eyes. "No. Something else."

Midnight cocked her head to one side. "What?"

Midnight looked confused. "I have no idea what you're talking about..."

Artie sighed. "Okay, I'm leaving."

((is this RP over? I mean, really the whole point was for Artie to figure out she's a wolf, and now she's done that... so?........I dunno....))
