New Wolf in Town

Midnight was surprised at her own courage as she openly disagreed with a wolf bigger then her. "But you are a wolf. You look like a wolf, and you only act like a Meow because your parents were Meows. If you'd just look at yourself and at us, you'd see. We're one and the same."

Midnight sat down and stared right into Arties eyes. Waiting to be attacked, or for something bad to happen.

Artie's hackles raised, and her tail rotated, betraying her ticked-off-ness. "Take that back. You're wrong."

Knight took position next to Midnight in case something happened.

"I agree." She said.

"NO!" said Midnight. "You ARE a wolf! I'm not going to lie to you even though you don't want to hear the truth."

"Am . . . NOT!!" Artie snarled, her ears pressing back. She was so angry she could only get one word out at a time.

"Yes you ARE!!! Just ask any Meow that isn't part of your family!" said Midnight.

Artie snarled, losing it, Cheese attacked Midnight.

Knight bit Artie's tail, gaining some newfound strength, pulled your face off.

Midnight looked scared, but seeing Knight fight, made your face want to fight to. She hurled herself at Artie.

Artie yowled (or tried to) in pain. She turned around, and snapped ferociously at Knight. Then, as Midnight tackled her, she rolled over, squishing Midnight.

Midnight yelped loudly, and tried niped at Artie's back. It was more of a pinch then a bite, she didn't want to kill Artie, just get her to stop fighting them.

Artie shook her off. "Stay away from me," she growled. "Come near me, and you'll be crowfood." She stalked off.

The fur on Knight's back was ruffled. She was mad-- nobody hurt her sister without asking permission first. "Dungpelt!" She called after her.

"Foxdung!" Artie howled over her shoulder as she stalked off.

"Rabbit-theaf!" Knight called.
