New Wolf in Town

Midnight whined then stepped back, tail tucked.

"Now, why are you stupid wolves crowding me?" Artie asked.

"I'm not stupid......" said Midnight quietly. "I just thought........since I havn't seen you before................you might be a nice wolf and join our pack........." she looked up very nerviousely.

"Wolf?" Artie seemed genuinely perplexed. "I'm no wolf. Wolves are stupid!"

Midnight looked up, very shocked. "What?" she said, that didn't make sence.

"We're not stupid!" said Lunarfang, taking a step forward.

"Yeah you are!" Artie snarled, her hackles rising even more, if that was possible. "Wolves are so stupid they make that weird human thing Jonny look like Einstein!"

"What's a Johnny?" Asked Knight, eager to know more about this odd wolf. "What's an Einstein?!"

"Yeah..........." said Midnight "And what's a human? You're really strange........and why would you call yourself stupid?"

"Maybe she is stupid, and that's why she talks about humans and johnnys and stuff." said Lunarfang, confused.

"I'm not stupid, cause I'm not a wolf, dufus!" Artie growled, exasperated. How thick were these stupid canines?

"You're not?" asked Midnight "You look like a wolf to me!"

"What's a dufus?" asked Lunarfang, still confused.

Artie tried not to freak out on these stupid wolves. "I am NOT a wolf, you. . .you. . .Alien-braned, pine-cone-faced, stupid canine with a head full of river muck!"

Lunarfang growled, then tackled Artie.
