On Trial!!

Kanuki sat at the table in front of the defendant box, drumming his fingers as he waited for the judge to arrive.

The Audience rose as Judge Bether walked in and sat down in her seat. "You may be seated" She said, putting on a long white wig with lots of curls in it.

There was a long silence, before Bether said: "We here today for the trial of Kanuki whatever his last name is, for he is accused for causing the massive swell that hit the beach that RK attended on the day of July 23 in the year 2009."

She steepled her fingers, then continued.

"Call upon the first witness." She said.

((Just thought I'd have some fun with this. xD))

Phoebe shuffled to the stand.

((Phoebe has visions, so I was thinking she could have had a vision, you know?))

"Your honor?" she asked, her voice sounding almost like a sneer.

A giant sting ray floated over to her, holding out a volume of Conan for her to put her hand on. ((She must swear upon the sacred texts! XD))

"Do you swear to tell the honest truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" He said sternly.

((Ok, I wasn't really there, so I'll be making this up as I go. If I do anything that isn't accurate, or that you dislike, tell me and I'll edit it. Kay?))

Phoebe put her hand on the sacred book. She nodded, stating solemnly, "I swear to tell the honest truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

The sting ray nodded, and moved away as Dawg, dressed in a blue suit with his hair slicked back walked up to Phoebe, hand on his chin.

"Ms. Halliwel, would you tell us exactly what you saw on that night?" He said.

((Again, I'm winging this. XD))

"Well, I was just watching TV, and then I got a vision:

"Great waves, not huge, but big enough, flowing onto the beach, sucking objects, sand castles, and small children out to sea. And, the Owners in a panic, for Bee was nowhere to be seen. And, then I saw Kanuki on a cliff, overseeing the chaos, calmly lighting a cigarette, doing nothing."

Phoebe fell silent, glancing around.

Dawg raised an eyebrow.

"But did you see him do anything that indicated that he caused it?" Dawg said.

"No, but I didn't say that I did in the first place, DID I?" Phoebe snarled, bristling, her short temper getting the better of her.

Then, as if to brake the tention, Kiwi walked in, dressed like this:

Everyone stared as Kiwi sat down in a dignified way.

"What the &^%$ are you WEARING?!" Erika hissed audibly.

"You told me to wear a court dress," Kiwi told her.

"I didn't say a court dress. I said to wear something suitable for court. That is totally different from a court dress!!"

"I don't see how."

"Court dresses are something women wore in the court of royalty back in the fifteenth century, or something like that!! Now a days, people wear this, or something like it!" Erika spat, gesturing to her own outfit:

"Oh." Kiwi shrugged, then brightened. "At least I get a cool outfit!"

Erika face/palmed.

Dawg shook his head as if to get Kiwi's dress out of his mind. To his dismay, it didn't work, so he just tried his best to ignore it.

"But Ms Halliwel, he was only standing there, correct? He wasn't wasn't holding his hand over the water or anything?"

Phoebe pondered. "Well, one hand was over the water, but it looked like he could have been waving the cigarette just as easily as controlling the water. I can't be sure."

Dawg narrowed his eyes. "So you have no sure evidence at all?" He said.

Bee was behind Kiwi, blushing in embarrassment.

"Wait, what?" She said, wearing this:

She tore off the dress, and before you could look away so that you wouldn't be staring at her whale-patterned undies you saw she was wearing her normal jeans-and-t-shirt.

She stood, to say her theory she had only told Embie.

"Ms. Embie and myself theorized this..." She said, putting in a video she had made with puppets....

On the video, the red curtains opened up to see a crayon drawing of the market, in the dairy section.

A finger puppet with silver hair, purple sweater, a cigarette, and a smiley face painted on the front came onto the scene whistling, examining the dairy.

Behind him was a beagle puppet that had it's tongue sticking out, Bee whispered; "We didn't have the funds for making an actual Okami puppet."

"Kanuki, don't forget to buy cheese." Said the beagle puppet in a very stupid fake high pitched voice.

"Okay Okami, you go buy some dog biscuits and stuff." Said the Kanuki puppet in a deep voice. It was easy to tell this was all being done by Bee.

The 'Okami' puppet went off the screen, leaving the Kanuki puppet to choose some cheese and give Bee a free hand.

"Let's see," said the Kanuki puppet. "Okami likes chedder. Hooray, I got the last one!" It said, reaching a plush hand for the plastic cheese.

Then, a black wolf puppet also wearing purple came onto the screen, and grabbed the cheese in their mouth because Bee couldn't work the hand to make a grabbing motion, then the black wolf puppet was off the screen with the cheese.

"L-FANG!!!!!" Screamed the Kanuki puppet, pretending to shake his fist. "Grrr!!!" The Kanuki plushie flailed, being moved back and forth, to and fro.

Then you could hear Bee's voice going, "WHOOSH!" And then it looked like Bee dumped a bucket of water over everything, and suddenly the Kanuki plushie had a frown and his eyebrows were angry-looking. "I'M SO ANGRY!!!" Said the puppet.

Then the video screen turned to static, and Bee took the video out.

"And THAT'S what happened. I would like to press charges, seeing as I lost my shoe. My right shoe, and I'm right-footed, so you must know my horrible loss. My left shoe hasn't stopped sobbing since." She said.

Kanuki face/desked so hard, it broke the table in half.

"That is some chilling evidence..." Judge Bether said thoughtfully.

"Oh come on, Okami doesn't even like cheese! What does that have to do with--" Kanuki started, only to be cut off but Judge Bether's mallet hitting the mallet thing that those mallets hit to silence.

"Order in the court!" She said. "How does this connect with the events of the incident in question?"

"I don't know how it connects, but I have evidence it happened." Bee snapped her fingers, and Dick and Jason wheeled in two refrigerators.

L-Fang was in the audience place that Bee can't remember what it's called. "... What are you doing with my fridge?" She said.

Bee stood next to them both, ignoring L-Fang. "This one belongs to Kanuki, and this one belongs to L-Fang."

She opened L-Fang's, and took out a block of cheddar cheese. L-Fang face/palmed for actually getting that.

She opened Kanuki's to reveal... no cheese.

The idiots in the crowd gasped.

Bee turned to Okami, she wasn't sure where Okami was, but she turned to her and handed her the cheese.

"Do you, or do you not like this kind of cheese?" She said, gesturing for Okami to eat it.

Okami growled, and backed away from the cheese.

"Ms. Bee, if these events don't connect, then your evidence can't be acknowledged in this case, no?" Dawg said, one hand behind his back.
