Family reunion

The two people who had previously been wolves smiled at L-Fang. She leaned back in her chair, putting her hand to her forehead.

"L-Fang?" Said Nightmare, tilting her head.

"... I'm going to throw up." Said L-Fang.

".... Oh god, you're not serious are you?" Said Nightmare, scooting away a little.

Before L-Fang could respond to that, her chair gave way from her leaning back too far, and she fell backwards.

At this, her parents' eyes widened. "Laura!?" They both said.

Nightmare tilted her head the other way. Laura?

The two people ran to her, the man shaking her shoulder. "Laura? Laura? Are you okay?!"

L-Fang didn't answer, seeming to have managed to knock herself out.

She was remembering how Embire had taken her away from her parents....

"Push me higher, Dad!" Squealed a wolf pup, who was on a swing set.

"You can't go any higher!" Laughed her father, with her mother right behind her, both of them in human form. With a big push from her father in attempt to fulfill her wanting to go higher, the wolf pup accidentally let go of the swings as though on impulse.

"Laura!" Screamed her mother, running to catch her. Before her arms could touch even the tip of her daughter's tail, she instead hit what felt like a wall. When she looked up she saw a tall bony bat holding her beloved child. The bat's eyes were deep, and frightening.

The mother stood. "Thank you for catching her." She was creeped out by this man, but she wasn't going to say it, and just held out her hands to take her child back. He pulled away.

"I'm sorry, but you won't be getting your child back." The bat said. He said, setting down the girl behind his legs. The girl looked up at his outstretched hand, as a gun appeared in it. In the second the child blinked, there were two loud gunshots, and then two soft thunks as she saw her parents hit the ground, both with blood dripping out their chests.

The girl's eyes widened, her breath caught in her throat. "M-mommy! Daddy!!" She screamed with tears streaming down her face. The bat lifted her with firm, gentle hands.

"It's okay." He assured her, hugging her tightly. "You didn't need them, you have something more, child. Come, you must meet your training partners."

L-Fang blinked her eyes open to see her parents, and a lot of other people looking down at her.

"Laura!" Said her mother.

"Whuh--what?" Said L-Fang in a daze. "Who's Laura?"

"You're Laura. You were renamed, I suppose..." Mused her mother.

Nightmare poked L-Fang's shoulder. "You uh, dozed off there for a second." She said.

Kanuki growled, and moved to a different table in an attempt to get away from his relatives.

He didn't notice that at the table waiting for him was a handsome man with dark brown hair and violet eyes sitting next to a pretty lady with platinum blond hair and sea-blue eyes, both in their 40s, smiling at him.

"Hey there, son!" The man said.

Kanuki then bravely passed out on the floor.

Strangely, Nightmare was next to where both Kanuki and L-Fang had passed out. She took their arms in each hand to lift them, seeing as she was probably the only one who's parents were flowers.

She pulled them both up so they were sitting up in their chairs, though she got the feeling when she let go of them both Kanuki just fell forward and knocked over someone else's beer, while L-Fang was back to consciousness.

Tanuki was glaring at her parents.

"The Good Dragon says hate is a strong word..." She huffed. "But.... I HATE YOU BOTH!!" She screamed. "How dare you call me a monster."

She walked away, feeling much better, even though she was dead.

Jimmy saw his parents, then.

And man, were they weird.



His mother was the lead singer, the girl you first see (at :30) and his father was one of the guys at: 2:15 or so)

Kanuki's mom blinked at Tanuki. "Who was that, Gary?" She asked her husband like the ditz she was.

Tanuki head/walled.

Jimmy's dad walked over to him. "Hi son. Wanna go on an adventure?"

Jimmy squeaked, then scurried away.

Aunt Helen studied Dick at his remark. "Who are you?"

Erika said quickly, "Erm, Aunt Helen, this is Dick. He's my husband."

"Hmmm . . . disappointing," Aunt Helen snorted. "A bit too hairy, isn't he?"

"He's a fox, Aunt Helen," Erika pointed out.

"I can see that - I'm not blind yet!" Aunt Helen snorted again. "His feet are rather large too."

Aunt Helen then spotted Suga' Mama. "Hello, Sugar!" she said. "How are you? Mama? Daddy?"

As Aunt Helen moved away, Erika spat to Dick, "My God, Helen's a nightmare. And she won't DIE."

Aunt Helen paused. "I'm not deaf yet either." Then, she glanced around. "Fido? Fido? Fido, stop hiding! Your relatives are here!"

A dog came out behind a corner. He looked exactly like this:

Aunt Helen picked up Fido lovingly. "He's shy," she explained.

Erika gagged, then turned to Joey, who was now her dog. "I now believe in mercy killing. Except killing that dog would be more for my mercy than his."

"Hear, hear," Joey barked, his lip curling slightly as he eyed Fido in revulsion.

A couple walked in, about in their late thirties. The man was tall, with hazel eyes and raven-black hair. The woman who held his hand was pretty, with dark red hair and icy blue eyes.

The minute the woman spotted Dawn, she tugged on her husband's arm excitedly, her hands blurring with gestures as she nodded towards Dawn.

Dawn noticed, and her eyes (same icy blue, since she'd just had some blood soda) widened. "Mother?" she said incredulously. "Daddy?"

Spike's ears flattened at the approaching couple. "Oh, great. Here we go."

Then, six men walked in. They looked sorta like this:

The looked around, then spotted Spike. They spat out many things in a fluid, garbled language. The only thing audible was, "Guardian!"

Spike hissed in irritation. "Ok, fellas, I go by Spike now," he said to their brains.

The couple walked quickly over to her, and Dawn's face split into a smile. Her hands were forming Sign Language symbols so fast to an outsider they'd get a headache. Somehow, though, Dawn's parents understood her hand-rambling, and their hands replied just as fast.

Kiwi sniffed. "I love happy endings."

Dawg, magically away from his family now, raised an eyebrow at Tanuki. "Who're you supposed to be?"

By then Jason and Jared were wrestling each other. They both had their own advantages.

Jason was naturally strong because of the whole 'vampire' thing, and he had magic to use things like electricity and whatnot.

Jared, on the other hand, was a bit taller, and very, very buff. Jason was skin and bones, but Jared was all muscle.

Jason was under Jared, but he shoved his foot into Jared's stomach and sent him flying right over Dawn's head and into the wall, which actually broke and a few bricks were lying around where he had crashed.

Shasta looked furious. "You guys BETTER fix that." She growled.

"Don't worry about it, I'll fix--" Jason was cut off by Jared running past Dawn and punching him in the stomach, knocking the air out of him.

Tanuki turned to Dawg. "Tanuki, Kanuki's sister." She said.

((-finally gets a chance to see Jimmy's parents- Oh lord, there is nothing right about that... xD))

Dawg had to stifle a fit of laughter. "I didn't know he had a sister... Oooh, am I gonna be able to bug him now." He said more to himself.

He then addressed Tanuki again. "Older or younger?"

((Dear me, I know. XD))

Bee's brain static'd a little, hoping that she was right with Tanuki's answer.

"Older. Be my guest, he annoys me deeply." Said Tanuki.

L-Fang turned away from her parents to comment. "You didn't used to think that."

Tanuki chucked a beer bottle at her, but L-Fang ducked and it hit Nightmare.

((I thought Tanuki was good? Or did something happen in Sparta that I was too lazy to read?

OH GOD DOES CHUCK HAVE RELATIVES?!?!?!?! I need to get my "TOUCHMEANDYOUDIE" face on. XD ))

Dawn watched the fight back and forth. Dawn's parents, Lisa and Henry, looked around at Dawn's friends with disapproving faces on. They made hand gestures for "Are these your friends?"

Dawn signed back. "Yes."

"They look like an . . . interesting bunch."

"You should see them when they're not trying to murder each other."

Meanwhile, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige were all slowly circling Prue.

"Girls, stop it!" Patty scolded lightly.

"Mom, please stay out of this," Prue said quietly. "I don't want you getting hurt."

"Hurt?" Phoebe asked incredulously. "She's dead, for God's sake!"

"It's the thought that counts, Pheebs," Prue told her.

"Don't preach to me," Phoebe snarled.

Patty leaned over to Grams. "You have to do something, Mother! Make them stop fighting!"

Grams snapped her fingers. "I have the perfect spell!." She cleared her throat, then began to recite: "Cast your petty jealousies to darkest night. Let these feuding siblings no longer fight!"

A shining ball of light came out of all four sisters' throats. The balls of light flew up to the cieling.

Piper, Phoebe, and Paige stopped circling. "Oh, Prue, we're so sorry!" they cried.

"I forgive you three," Prue said.

To everyone's amazement, they all hugged.

But, nearby, playing quietly, Dean and Tusumi were in a corner.

Old people and their petty rivalries, Tusumi gazed around at all the adults. Its very stupid when you could have allies that could help you achive greatness.

Dean nodded, not really paying attention to Tusumi as much as his ball.

Then, forgotten for the moment, the four balls of light up by the cieling came together to form two balls. And, they flew down, and one went into each brother's throat.

Tusumi, usually aloof, twitched his tail in irritation. You're only agreeing with me because you want to make me happy. Will you stop being such a kissup and start paying attention once in a while?

Dean looked up. But instead of looking hurt then shaking it off, as he usually would have done, his eyes narrowed. Its not my fault your such a poisenpaws. If you weren't so grouchy all the time, maybe I would actually start paying attention to you!

If you weren't such a bumbling, idiotic mound of squirrel poop maybe I wouldn't be so grouchy!

What did you say?!

You heard me! Or do you want me to speak slower and in the language of Stupid? Maybe then you'll understand!

Come say that to my face!

I just did, or are you too dumb to realize that too?

Growling, Dean threw himself at Tusumi. Tumumi growled back, and rolled over, flattening Dean, who howled in anger.

Erika looked over. Her eyes narrowed. She stormed over, turned into her fox form, and grabbed the fur on Tusumi's neck with her right hand and the fur on Dean's neck with her left.

"What has gotten into you two?" she growled quietly, so as not to make a scene.

Tusumi ignored his mother, and swiped out a paw towards Dean, his unusually long and sharp claws glinting.

Dean bared his teeth, his fangs curling over his bottom lip.

Thade groaned at his brothers' quarreling, while Santos just sat and watched all the fighting going on in the room, mostly Jared and Jason because theirs was fairly entertaining as Jared unleashed his strength.

Once there was a moment that Jason had pushed Jared away, Bee tackle-hugged Jared, though he didn't fall.

"UWAH! I'm SO keeping you! WHAT A HUNK!" She squealed so that everyone stared.

Bee laughed, then scurried away.

Jason blinked. That was... odd. Then he wanted to groan loudly, knowing that he hated the way he acted around Jared and that he didn't want to be like that around Dawn.

Then he realized Jared was looking at Dawn, and punched him in the jaw. "Stay away from her!" He hissed.

Jared chuckled darkly. "Oh, so you wouldn't like it if I gave her a hug?"

Jason felt his past life creeping up on him, the days when he was five or so and his parents liked Jared more than him. If Jared stayed, Jason was pretty sure he would be forgotten or something.

Jason figured Jared couldn't come back without his limbs, and continued fighting.

Dawn watched the fight apprehensively. Her parents were watching her watch the fight. Dawn could barely repress a shiver when she saw Jared staring at her.

“So, Dawn, point out all your friends to us,” Her parents signed in Sign Language.

“Ok,” Dawn signed. “That’s Phoebe, and over there is Erika with two of her four sons, Dean and Tusumi. Oh, they’re fighting. That’s odd, they usually get along quite well. Anyways, and that’s Cole, and his half-sister Venna, who’s fifteen. I think. And that’s Jessica, and that’s . . . “ she went on and on, pointing out the BGs and gesturing their names to her parents.

Then, another couple walked in: A tall, muscular guy fox in his early thirties, with jet black fur. He was walking arm in arm with a smaller, more slender female fox, who looked around his same age. She had reddish brown fur with white paws and a white tail.

Jake abrubtly turned and seemed to find the blank brick wall remarkably interesting.

"Justin!" the female fox snarled.

Venna raised her eyebrows. “Your name is Justin?”

Jake shook his head bitterly. “No. They just go out of their way to pretend they don’t remember my correct name.”

“Justin!”

Jake sighed, and turned around reluctantly. “Hi Dad,” he said. “Erm, hi Sylvia.”

“Hi? HI?!” Jake’s dad yelled. “You’re saying HI to us?! LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED?!”

“Errr, what happened that I’m gonna get chewed out for?” Jake asked, feeling extremely stupid and confused.

“YOU KILLED US!!!!!!!” Sylvia screamed.

“Oh, yeah.”

“OH YEAH?! OH YEAH?!” Jake’s dad yelled. “THAT’S ALL YOU’VE GOT TO SAY?!”

“Well, what do you want me to say?!” Jake asked defensively. “I don’t feel a bit sorry about what I did, and besides, you’d just ignore my apology if I did say sorry, which I’m not going to do.”

Then, seven other people walked in, all looking around their early to mid twenties. The three girls were impossibly beautiful, each of them graceful and elegant, and each had a different hair color – the oldest-looking had flaming red hair, and the youngest-looking had jet black hair. The middle one was brunette.

The four boys were handsome and dashing, all four tall and muscular, and all four had different hair shades: one was brunette, the other black-haired, another a redhead, and the last one was blonde.

When the redhead girl spotted Jessica, her eyes bugged. “Jessica?” she asked, incredulous.

Jessica turned, and saw the seven people. Her eyes too bugged, and flashed bloody red. She lowered into a crouch, and let out a feral snarl.

Tobias knew immediately who they were. “Take it outside!” he ordered Jessica. “Shasta will murder you if you demolish this place again. Out!”

Jessica made no reply, but punched the redhead girl, who’s nose broke. Jessica ran gracefully out of the place, just as the blood stopped gushing from the girl’s nose. Her nose reset, and within moments was completely normal, though her face was still covered in blood.

The girl howled in fury, and took off after Jessica. The other two girls and the four boys all exchanged glances, then shrugged and sat down.

Tobias surveyed them. “You must be the other gods and goddesses of Jessica’s original realm.”

They all looked up at him. Cautiously, the blonde boy nodded. He looked to be the youngest of the boys.

“You were the ones that stole most of her powers and banished her to earth,” Tobias stated. It wasn’t a question.

More nods.

“No wonder she wanted to kill you all on sight,” Tobias snorted.

There was the sound of an explosion a few miles away.

The black-haired girl sighed. “Oh, great. Kendra’s letting her temper loose on earth. The little . . .” she glanced at Tobias. “Do you call them Earthens? Or Earthlings?”

“Humans,” Tobias stated. “But sometimes Earthlings, so that will work.”

“The little Earthlings had better run. Kendra was second most powerful with Jessica around. Now, she’s more powerful than Jessica. Plus, she’s a goddess.”

Tobias shrugged. He had a feeling it was Jessica who had caused the explosion. Also, Jessica could take care of herself.

Shasta was grateful SOMEBODY knew that she would force terror upon anyone who messed up her bar.

"... That's Ami, L-Fang, Jason, Dick, Nightmare, No One, Dawn, Erika, Phoebe...." Emerald pointed everyone out to her dad. He looked appalled.

"You hang out with these people?" He said, shocked that his dainty little girl was hanging out with... all these bad guys in the bar that were fighting. Some were more evil than his own friends.

Seto was especially surprised she hung out with the two grey wolves that were wrestling each other.

"Well, I've never met the buffer one, but the other one I know. I mostly hang out with Ami." Said Emerald.

Ami was busy holding up a chair to her father, ready to hit him with it if he came closer.

Ami's mom picked up Santos. "Oh, he's darling, honey!"

Dick groaned. "Mother." He growled.

Hey grammy! said Santos.

Thade rolled his eyes at him.

"Ami, hun, why don't you have kids yet?" Said Ami's mother.

"Mom!" Ami scolded her mom. "I'm nineteen! Dick is like, twenty-five or something."

Then, a girl with thin long brown hair and bangs ran in. She looked around sixteen, and wore a blue jacket and miniskirt, and a pair of glasses. The girl was rather pale, and small, and her eyes were blood red.

Shasta let out a fangirlish scream. "TANYA!!!!" She yelled, grabbing the girl and swinging her around. Shasta was so much taller than her, and had outgrown her, for Tanya was killed by a Vampire and after death stayed the same age as she did when she died. She died at seventeen, and Shasta was twenty-three now.

"Shasta!!" Said Tanya, fixing her glasses once she was put down. She had a very strong English accent. "Darling, it's been too long!"

"Ahaha, do you like the bar?" Said Shasta.

"Love it. I'm glad the two goddesses took it outside! Although, why is there a 'ole in the wall?" The girl asked, tilting her head a little.

Shasta pointed to Jason and Jared. Once again, Jared had Jason pinned to the ground. Jason thought about using magic to get up until he had an idea he liked more.

He spat in his eye.

"WHAT THE @#(% WAS THAT!?" Yelled his brother.

"It's called spit. Ever heard of it?" Jason mocked while Jared put one hand on his eye. Jason used his free hand to punch Jared in the chest, pushing him off. Jason couldn't help but wince in pain afterwords; it felt like he had just punched a brick wall.

Dawn laughed at Jason's spitting act.

Phoebe, Prue, Piper, and Paige were all sitting down at a table, laughing lightly. "So, Prue, what have you been doing since we turned evil?" Phoebe asked.

"Oh, I was really sad for the longest time," Prue sighed, stirring her Coke with her straw. "I missed you guys. And, you know, my powers weren't as strong without you and Piper. So, I was having near-death experiences every other day. And then, I started tracking you guys. Then, bam, the tiger girl came up to me - I nearly slammed her into a brick wall, she freaked my out so bad - and said that you really wanted to see me, Pheebs."

Phoebe's face darkened, and she sent a look of hatred at Kiwi, who turned, whistling, to engage Nima in conversation.

Erika was still holding Dean and Tusumi arms length apart. "Now, if you two are going to behave . . . " she set them down gently. Dean ran off, turning back to snarl a rather rude word that he shouldn't have even learned yet to Tusumi.

Tusumi growled fiercely, and took off after Dean. He pounced, digging his claws into his brother's fur, his sharp spikes of hackles raised.

Dean's howl was one of pain and pure fury. Dawn looked over.

Aunt Helen snorted. "Erika, can't you keep your own sons from fighting? Obviously, your not a very fearful person." She walked over to them. "Come to Auntie Helen, you mewling lumps of fur."

She reached down, and made the mistake of trying to pick up Tusumi by the fur on his neck, which was puffed out. The blue fur pierced her palm like porquepine quills. Aunt Helen yelped and jumped back.

Erika gave Aunt Helen a smile like poisened honey. "Thank you very much for your assistence, Aunt Helen, but this requires a mother's touch."

She sucked in a breath, the hollared, "TUSUMI DANIEL MATANZA, GET OFF YOUR BROTHER NOW!!!!!!!!!!"

Tusumi froze, staring at his mother with wide eyes. Then, he scrambled off Dean, and sat there, staring sulkily at Erika.

Dean hissed, and crouched, tail lashing, about to leap at his brother.

"DEAN THOMAS MATANZA!!! YOU STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!!!!!"

Dean sat down, and was soon glaring at Erika in the exact sulky way Tusumi was.

Erika turned Grams. "Fix it," she said through gritted teeth.
