Jason and Dawn's date/dare. AWWWWW.

Sheba was pushed backwards, only to catch herself in the air with her own wings. "Your One Piece referances don't hurt me.

"My god." Said Bee in shock.

Nightmare swung her sword towards Jason, he blocked with both of his, and he was caught looking into her evil piercing red eyes rather than the joyful charcoal ones. Hers showed no love, only bloodlust.
In her eyes, he could pratically see his own death.

"Nightmare..." Jason murmured. In that instant, Nightmare lept with her sword, and let it slash into his shoulder. He let out a yell in pain as blood splattered across Phoebe's lawn. He fell backwards, as he did, Nightmare stabbed her sword into his ribcage, just below his heart.

With a gasp of pain, his limbs went... well limp.

Shakka growled. "No!" There was some major deja vu there.

"No!!" Dawn shreiked.

Erika's eyes widened. "Oh my God." She'd killed many people - she'd been on America's Most Wanted seven times - but she'd never actually killed somebody that she lived nearby, got groceries with, gone to parties with, etc.

And she'd never watched a Bad Guy brutally slaughter her brother-friend-figure just for going on a date.

"HOW CAN IT BE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" Kiwi howled, not referring to the fact that Jason had been murdered before her very eyes, but to the fact that the Once Piece actions had no affect whatsoever.

Bee's jaw dropped.

"HOW COULD I KILL MY OWN CHARACTER?" She yelled.

Shakka screeched, running towards Jason. He pressed his paws into the wound, trying to hold it together. He felt Jason's hand grab his.

"Shakka, don't." He choked out. "I'm done. Protect Dawn."

Shakka just nodded, holding back tears for his beloved master. Hatred grew for Nightmare, while a heavy weight lied in his heart for Jason.

He looked at Nightmare, who was licking her sword.

Slowly, L-Fang rose behind her, apparently Nightmare not seeing her, L-Fang had a long mental pipe clutched in her hands. She whacked the back of Nightmare's head with all her strength, then half the pipe broke off, and Nightmare fell forward onto her sword.

L-Fang's hands shook as she held half of the pipe, and Nightmare lying in front of her.

Erika stared, her mind blank for about a sixteenth of a second. then, she snapped back : Nightmare might be dead, or unconcious, but Sheba was still around.

Phoebe was still battling Sheba. She held up her hands, and electricity shot out of them towards Sheba.

"I wish that killed her." Muttered L-Fang.

Sheba screeched, angered that they had knocked out Nightmare without Nightmare even getting to touch Dawn. And that she was being shocked, but that was beside the point.

Shakka ran from Jason towards Phoebe, he had a knife in his jaws, then he handed it to her.

"Don't make this harder than it needs to be." He said, his eyes full of sorrow.

Phoebe nodded solemnly. SHe wasn't used to physical combat - usually choosing magic, or kickboxing; but since Sheba could stun/poison her, hand-to-hand combat was out of the question.

She used magic to physically inhance her flexability, strength, aim, and reflexes, then lunged for Sheba's heart.

Out of impulse, Sheba-- once stabbed-- sunk her claws into Phoebe's wrist. Both crimson and violet blood dripped from the knife and her chest, then she went limp-- still holding Phoebe's wrist in her claws.

"Get back, she's not dead, just unconscious like Nightmare. There's no way Bee would let her die after only a few posts." Said L-Fang, holding her pipe at her side.

Phoebe wrenched Sheba's claws out of her wrist with difficulty, her wrist bleeding slightly.

Dawn clenched her teeth, trying to not breathe in the scent of Phoebe's deliciously human blood.

Phoebe jumped back.

Sheba lied on the ground.

"We're done." L-Fang breathed.

She walked over to Jason, holding her hand over him. Violet washed over his chest, then disappeared.

"Doesn't make him alive again, but he should be back sooner." She murmured.

"What do you mean?" Dawn asked L-Fang, standing up. She looked at Jason's body, her face full of pain, then her eyes flashed to Sheba. She glared.

Phoebe and Erika stood, Erika watching Sheba carefully, Phoebe eyeing Nightmare suspiciously. Erika, in her black fox form, had her fur puffed out.

"Well... Jason never liked anyone mentioning it, but--" L-Fang started.

"Now that Jason's dead you spill all his secrets?" Snarled Shakka. L-Fang silenced him with a glare, obviously telling him she knew what she was doing.

"The three of us all lived a century or two ago, it's hard to remember. Embire was our trainer when we were just kids, and when he left us because he thought we were ready, me and Nightmare got into a scrap--"

Shakka raised his eyebrows in disbelief. How vague. It was a war. The unnamed bad guy world had to take sides, either L-Fang or Nightmare. Both sides had fierce warriors.

"-- and when Jason came in"

Shakka thought, when Jason tried to stop all the madness, as it was unnecessary, and he didn't them to hurt each other.

"Nightmare came in and--"

"Here we go." Murmured Shakka.

"It was not it was NEVER my fault, and how DARE you accuse me of that!" Nightmare screamed, leaping to her feet.

"Good lord, you know you were the one who leaped first.

Nightmare lept for me-- I countered, and she hit Jason. He grabbed both our wrists, telling us to stop, but we couldn't stop, and the hatred between us flowed into him, and killed him."

"You know it was you that had more hate. You started it!"

"@#%* IT WAS YOUR FAULT." L-Fang yelled at her.

Shakka leaned over to Phoebe and Dawn and Erika. "Despite the argument-- and that you would probably be siding with L-Fang right now, it was both their faults. And Jason's. The point is that he knows how to cast a spell to come back to life.

He came back ten years ago, then casted a spell to make himself older, then--"

L-Fang coughed loudly, him making her lose quite a bit of magic wasn't something she liked sharing. He had used a spell that killed him.

"Well who knows why he died again, he went into L-Fang's house and didn't come out.

This time it was a bit easier, because he had done it before. And this time he wrote all the spells he would need on his wrist.

When he came back was five years ago, so he just got his spellbook and changed his age. How you cast a spell when you're dead, I'm not sure. But Jason never wants to talk about it."

Despite the battle that had just gone down, L-Fang and Nightmare were standing with their backs to each other and arms crossed.

Dawn looked down at Jason's body, silent, her face crumpled with pain.

Erika was silent also, and she watched Nightmare carefully, while Phoebe watched Sheba.

Nightmare looked at Jason, then looked back at everyone with an angry look on her face.

"Jason is dead?" She yelled. "Who killed him?! I'll kill them!"

Everyone glared at her.

"..... Me? Oh... um... oopsie." Said Nightmare, embarrassed.

"OOPSIE? That's all you have to say!?" Hissed L-Fang.

"Hey, I have NO control! You're not the one who woke up from a very nice nap to realize you had killed one of your best friends!" Nightmare yelled back in defense. She dropped to her knees.

"Can't believe this..." She muttered. "Who was I after? Dawn?" She looked at Dawn.

"This is your fault. If you hadn't--"

"If she hadn't what, Nightmare?" Shakka growled.

Nightmare stopped, realizing that it wasn't Dawn's fault, nor her own.

Dawn looked at Nightmare, and Phoebe grew worried at the expression on Dawn's face. It wasn't sweet, or embarrassed, or patient, or happy, or frightened, or any of Dawn's usual expressions.

It was bleak and cold. She didn't have to say anything to display that she thought it was completely Nightmare's fault, and that she would never forgive her.

Nightmare turned again to look at Sheba.

"Sheba's here? Gosh, what did I DO?" She muttered, turning back to Dawn.

She took a deep breath. "I promise you, with my mind intact I really didn't mean to hurt anyone. It's just this thing I have, dunno why, but it sure as heck is annoying."

L-Fang waved her hand, and Nightmare fly backwards into a tree. Nightmare struggled, but she was stuck there.

"You don't deserve to be sorry." Said L-Fang coldly.
