She looked behind Kanuki to see people pointing at her, then guards coming towards her.

"Uh, let's get out of here." Said Emerald, without thinking, she grabbed Kanuki's hand and ran out the door, pulling him with her.


Meanwhile...


Nightmare and L-Fang screamed at the same time.

"Git back in you cage!" Said L-Fang angrily.

Kanuki groaned. This was bad enough, but at least he wasn't going for a piggy back ride.... yet.

Meanwhile...

"lolcatz nu go in cagez, lolcatz dezurv freedum!" She said, rubbing her face against "Teh Flufehz" like a cat does against people's legs.

Emerald ran until she didn't see anyone, then sighed in relief.

"What are you doing?"

She froze, then saw No One behind her.

"I um, er, wait--" She stuttered, trying to find the words to explain.

No One put up one hand to stop her. "Whatever you're doing, I don't want to be a part of it, so don't tell me." He looked at Kanuki, nodding to him in sympathy, then he walked away.

Emerald tried to calm down. She couldn't think of a way this day wouldn't end badly.


Meanwhile...

Nightmare and L-Fang struggled, looking at each other as though saying 'we went too far'.

Kanuki just stood there, loosing his patience quickly.

He wondered is No One would blab about him, but when he thought about it, he came to the conclusion that No One didn't seem the blabbing type.

Meanwhile...

Miki rolled around on the floor now, hugging them both with sheer delight.

((Lawl, this is when the RP starts to slow down. I'm surprised we even made it this far, Sparta was slowing down waaaaay before this....... I think. XD))

As No One walked away, Dick walked over to him without noticing Emerald or the kid standing next to her.

"What's up?" Dick greeted casually.

Emerald hoped that No One wouldn't say anything leading Dick to turn around.

"Too much." Muttered No One, walking away with his hands in his pockets. Dick shrugged in confusion, then walked in the other direction. Emerald sighed in relief.

She looked at Kanuki, wondering what they should do exactly. Going to Okami would be out of the question, but before she could finish the thought she saw Jazzmin strolling through the park.

"Crud!"

Meanwhile...

L-Fang growled, then was about to sink her teeth into Miki's neck when Nightmare slapped her.

"We're Vampires, you idiot!" She hissed.

Kanuki also saw Jazzmin, and raised an eyebrow at Emerald's reaction.

Whatever the reason was for this, he didn't want to be seen by Jazzmin either way.

He closed his eyes for a moment, focusing his power to one direct point as he leaned against the wall.

After a while, he said: "We should get out of here."

Meanwhile...

Miki paused for a moment, and then for no apparent reason, she put them down.

"Sorry 'bout that..." She said. "I didn't hurtch'a er anything, did I?" She said, smiling guiltily.

Emerald nodded, knowing that Okami was probably very near Jazzmin.

But she wasn't about to tell Kanuki that.

"How long can I hide him?" Thought Emerald, thinking of the horrorable things the two giant dogs would do to her for messing this up.

(Cue Okami seeing him. XDDDDD)

Meanwhile...

"Just our dignaty" said L-Fang, brushing herself off.

((Hm, too lazy to bring Okami in. XD))

"Any clothing store would be fine, I just don't want to be seen by her." He said, admitting his situation, and knowing what he had to do so he wouldn't be seen.

He looked up at Emerald, his eyes now a dark brown. On top of that, he now had pupils.

"Help me out of here." He said, his new eyes locking with Emerald's.

Meanwhile...

"Ah, that happens t'everyone sumtimes." Miki said.

She paused a moment, then said: "So what d'ya wanna do now?"

Emerald stumbled backwards as him staring at her.

Then again, who wouldn't?

"Um, sure." She said, quickly trying to think of where a good clothing store was.

Nightmare nudged L-Fang when she said it.

He sighed. It seemed like he'd have to take the lead, if he wanted to get anything done.

"C'mon." He said, making his way down the hall towards the other exit.

"Naw, yer too cute t'do that." Miki teased.

She was silent for a long while.

"Well, if you two aren't gonna be doin' anythin', then I'd best be off." She said, getting ready to leave.

She then remembered Okami. She paused her departure as this was refreshed in fer mind, and decided against it for now.

Emerald followed. She wondered if he'd rather be alone, which he probably did.

But she realized that if she left, the cops would be coming to ask him where his mommy and daddy was, and that wouldn't be good.

Nor would Okami or Jazzmin spotting her alone.

She got the feeling she wasn't coming out of this in one piece.

Meanwhile...

"Kay. Hit your head on your way out." Said L-Fang, turning away. Nightmare slapped her, then grabbed her shoulders.

"Look, we're useless in these forms. We'd never be able to find Jason in this forest, but Miki's --dare I say-- taller than me and you combined." Normally Nightmare was short, but L-Fang was used to looking down at people. She looked up at Miki with a growl rising in her throat.

Kanuki made it out the back door, and stealthily crept along the side of the building.

He knew where the nearest clothing store was, so he figured he might as well head there.

"Wutcher point?" She said to Nightmare.

Emerald followed him, feeling like an idiot that she wouldn't know/forgot where all the clothing stores were.

No wonder people wanted to beat her up at school, but didn't because Spice would jump out of her backpack and eat them.

Jason, who was listening on the conversation, was running and holding a book. Shakka ran next to him.

"How could you forget it!?" Shakka hissed. Jason had forgotted the spell that L-Fang and Nightmare wanted him to use, so he looked through a book that was twelve and a half dictionaries long and was in latin and other strange languages like foreinese.

Luckily, the book was shruken down so it was the size of an average dictionary. But it was still hard to find one spell.
