"I believe the question is what we can do without becoming their new rug." Said Jazzmin. She knew Kanuki probably wouldn't do that to Okami, but L-Fang sure as heck would do it to her in the right mood, and Okami if she can get her hands on her.

Okami's tails bobbed thoughtfully as she pondered some more.

"We'd have to use a puppet to do our bidding..." She said. "Anyone stupid enough, yet someone they'll both trust?"

Okami smirked as she suddenly thought of Dawg. A bit far fetched though.

She shook the thought out of her head.

Jazzmin thought of Nightmare.

L-Fang would trust her like Bee trusts her pants not to run away from her, meaning somebody might get stabbed.

There was Jason...

nevermind. Unless he had a death wish.

Nadae doesn't give a rats' tail about it.

Then she remembered someone...

"What about Emerald?" Said Jazzmin. "She's young, doesn't have anything to do with anything, and she's trustworthy because she never does anything evil or has tricked anyone."

Okami pondered it a bit.

"That could work..." She said. "But don't L-Fang be suspicious if Emerald is suddenly interested in what she does? Not only that, what do you think we should make her do?"

"She could get lost in the rain. And I think just having a talk with someone-- ANYONE (except Chuck) -- would make them feel a bit better." Said Jazzmin.

Meanwhile....

Emerald sat in her seat in class, working on a test.

"How many teeth does a Werewolf have?" It read.

She wondered how the heck she was supposed to know that, when someone threw a rock at the back of her head.

Startled, she screamed and fell out of her chair.

Okami barked a small laugh.

"Kanuki doesn't "talk" to anyone. Not even me anymore."

She paused.

"Though there's one of Bether's bad guys who could probably do it..." She said thoughtfully. "Miki can make anyone talk..."

Meanwhile...

Miki was sitting in a large, shady tree, hugging her wooden dragon staff as she snoozed lazily on this warm afternoon.

Bee broke into the conversation.

"That'd be no fun. Let's jazz it up a bit, Emerald goes to Kanuki and Miki goes to L-Fang." She said.

Jazzmin shrugged. Anything to get L-Fang's butt off the chair at the kitchen table, studying spells that Jazzmin had no idea what they did because most were in some weird language Bee would describe as 'forgenese' or something.

"Works for me." Okami said. "Let's round them up and meet back here in half-an-hour."

"Sounds good." Said Jazzmin. She turned into her larger form and ran until she found the school. She ran inside, then into the classroom where there was a group 'woah'.

Jazzmin grabbed Emerald by the back of her shirt's collar and lifted her, Emerald barely being able to get her backpack before being whisked out the door.

As Okami ran over to Dawg's house, she wondered how Emerald would make Kanuki "talk".

She arrived at Dawg's house and rang the doorbell.

Dawg answered, and wasn't too pleased to find Okami at this door.

"I already gave you this week's cheesecake, so scram." He said, about to close the door.

Okami held the door open with her massive paw, diamond claws digging into the wood.

"Do you know where Miki is?" She said, not caring about the cheesecake she was blackmailing Dawg for.

Dawg blinked, then narrowed his eyes. "Why do you care?" He asked.

Okami dug her claws deeper into the door. "Why do you care?" Okami said in return.

Dawg sighed. He should've seen it coming.

"She's at the park near Suga Mama's house. But why do you want to--" He didn't finish his sentence, because Okami tore her paw out of the door, taking the door off it's hinges, and ran off towards the park.

Dawg gave another sigh. "You're welcome..." He said under his breath, leaving the door where it was and going back inside.

Okami arrived at the park, and spotted Miki in her tree.

She was about to walk over to her, when she leapt down, and tossed her pony-tail to get it out of her face.

"Let's go." She said, smiling and jumping on Okami's back.

Okami growled, but allowed it just this once as she ran back to the other park.

Once Jazzmin arrived at the park, she dropped Emerald, not seeming to how she landed. Emerald tucked and rolled onto her knees.

"Whatever Ami or Spice did, I swear I never--" Emerald began, only to be cut off by Jazzmin.

"You're not being questioned, I need you to do me a favor once Okami gets here." Said Jazzmin as she turned back into her smaller form.

Emerald stiffened, Okami scared her. Whatever these two wanted, she hoped it wasn't lunch meat.

Miki jumped off before they got to the meeting place. She could guess that Okami didn't want to be seen as a steed.

Okami slowed to a walk, and she arrived at the bench with Miki at her side.

She observed Emerald's fear, and enjoyed it. She loved that look of terror...

"Howdy, pooch!" Miki said cheerfully to Jazzmin.

"Erm, hello." Said Jazzmin, trying her best not to make a comment on why she didn't have a giant belt buckle and a cowboy hat.

"Why am I here...?" Asked Emerald hesitantly.

Okami grimaced. She didn't like explaining things very much...

Just then, Bether popped out of the bushes once more and did it for her.

"Both of their owners are being emo, so they want you to "talk" to their owners!" She said, brandishing her duck-firing machine gun.

Okami shot a crystal at Bether to shut her up. (Yes, Okami can do that, she just doesn't do it often. XD)

She disliked anyone saying that she was "owned" by anyone.

"What's innit fer me?" Miki said, hands on her hips.

"What's in it for you is that you don't get trampled!" Emerald thought in responce to Miki, though not having the courage to say it out loud.

"So, Emerald, you'll be talking to Kanuki!" Said Bee, popping out of the bushes as if saying she just won something on a game show.

"Um... what?" Said Emerald, Kanuki scared her too.
