Power Outage

Dick walked to the mailbox and opened his from Erika.

Something he had locked inside him disappeared. A great burden. He read the letter, then wondered if Erika had gotten the same. He began to walk to Erika's house, not feeling too bad.

((GAAAH!!!!))

Phoebe came home to find Dawn crying on the couch. A little afraid, Phoebe decided to go get the mail until Dawn calmed down.

Dawn tried to tell her something while shaking her head violently, but Phoebe couldn't understand. "Don't worry Dawn, I'll be right back."

Phoebe went outside, adn found a package. It was from Piper. That was weird; Piper and Phoebe remained on good terms, loved each other even, if it was possible for evil to love. It was just, if Piper wanted to tell Phoebe something that was so important Phoebe had to know now, she would just come herself.

Phoebe shook off the doubts, and opened the box. A huge sucking sensation went through her. SHe had no idea, not even a vague clue, of what lay ahead. SHe felt weaker. Not part of a whole, but alone.

Phoebe, fell onto the ground. She gasped in pain, and then it was gone. She sat up, shaking, and unfolded the letter with trembling hands. She read it, and realized it was true. She wasn't a Charmed One anymore.

Upset, and not knowing what to do, she went to call Erika.

Dick panted, he stood outside Erika's house.

Erika sat inside her house, in a weird mood. She was in a foul mood, but she knew she should be livid. Taking her fire power away had strangely mellowed her out - or mellow for Erika, which is normal for any sane Bad Guy.

Erika didn't like it. She also felt like she was freezing. her teeth chattered, and she was in a huge, dark blue winter jacket, with sweat pants. She looked really bad, like the loss of her powers was actually making her ill.

And she didn't know it, but it was. She had lived her whole life with those powers, and her body, from the moment her Mom had become pregnant with her, had been designed to keep that inner power. Without that inner fire, Erika was getting sicker and sicker.

No one knew it, but it was slowly killing her.

Dick knocked on the door.

"Erika?" He called.

Erika got up. She answered the door, shivering. She was really pale - REALLLY pale, and she was sniffling, not with tears, but her nose was running.

"H-hi D-Dick," she said, her teeth chattering, and her voice horse from coughing.

If Remmi had had his power he could've magicaly summoned everyone to a meeting, as it was, he had to call Shasta, he knew her number, and called. "Shasta, I need you to call ALL the BGs, we need to hold a meeting, everyone's loosing their powers!"

"Erika! What's wrong?" He said with concern, curling his warm tail around Erika's legs.

Erika covered her mouth while she sneezed. "I don't-t-t know," she chattered. "I op-pened this p-p-package, and n-now my p-powers won't work-k-k and I'm really c-c-cold and I feel awf-f-ful."

Dick figured it must have been the same package he opened, and since Erika lost her power, he must have lost one power that he didn't exactly need, it turned him into a demon and sent him on a rampage, but he never wanted to be like that.

Dick lifted Erika into his arms then walked inside. He tried to make her warm as possible. Considering it was cold outside, that probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Erika didn't protest. She hugged and snuggled next to Dick, half because she was trying to get warm and half because she loved him a lot at that moment. A whole bunch.

Dick sat down on the couch with Erika on his lap. His tail curled onto her lap.

His phone rang, and at first he ignored it. Then it said he got a text, and he ignored it.

More and more texts came until he finally picked it up to see. He put it in Erika's view, too.
It was from Shasta, and it said:
"Dick, com 2 bar bgs losin powr now"

"Uh no." he said. He got up, still holding Erika, then ran out the door.

Ami was about to ride by on her motercycle, and with perfect timing. Dick slapped his tail in her face as she was riding by and she fell off.

Dick got on with Erika behind him holding onto his back. "I'll explain later." He called back, then rode off.

"HEY!" Ami yelled after him angrily. She growled then started walking to the bar.

Phoebe got the text too, and convinced a calming down Dawn to hop in the car. The drove off, flooring the gas petal.

-Cole's place-

Cole had been stripped of his powers and his demon form earlier. He was sitting on his couch in his apartment, drinking redbull. He felt slower, less alert, and he wanted that alertness back, even if it meant being awake for three days straight.

He got the text, and then realized - he didn't have a car. As a demon, he didn't need it. He could just teleport. He swore, and stole and hotwired a Lambourgini from some rich family next door. He drove to the bar.

-Missy-

Missy had gotten the package too, but being mortal, she didn't have any powers. She didn't feel anything different, adn until she got the text, she'd thought it was a hoax.

She leaped onto her Tyrannasourus Rex, Rexie, and rode him bareback to the bar

-Kevin and Jack-

Kevin and Jack had both gotten the same package, from their older sister, Camille, who lived in Long Beach.

They were already in the bar, Jack doing everything he'd been afraid of getting in trouble for doing, while Kevin was betting impulsively.

The NOt-Bad luck was going to their heads.

Shasta sighed. She had no idea how many one could drink before getting drunk, or any of that.

L-Fang arrived with Jazzmin, who was like Cole, and couldn't turn into her demon form.

Dick walked in with Erika, and about a half an hour later Ami came in, looking very angry and tired.

Everyone was there. "What's the matter with Erika?" Dawn asked, holding Spike, who was so stressed his hackles were up and his claws wouldn't sheath.

Phoebe blew that off. "She always looks like that."

Erika was well enough to make a very rude hand gesture in Phoebe's direction.

Cole came in. "I don't like this."

Kevin looked up, a cigarette in his mouth. "I do."

Jack was breakdancing. He liked to breakdance.
